In the European Union, the name "Parmesan" is protected,
it refers exclusively to the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
manufactured in Northern Italy.
When Kraft's Parmesan cheese is sold in Europe,
they must use another name like, Kraft's "pamesello italiano".
