Potato Pancakes Recipe

Recipe ingredients:
4 large potatoes
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 Tbs. butter or margarine
3 strips crispy cooked bacon

Prepare your recipe
Peel potatoes.
Hold potatoes in cold water to prevent
them from turning brown.
Blot dry and shred coarsely.
Mix with onion, flour, eggs, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Heat butter in large skillet .
Place large spoonsful of potato mixture into mounds
flaten to form pancakes.
Saute until brown and crisp on both sides.
3 to 4 minutes on each side over medium heat.

Garnish with crisp bacon.
Serve hot.

Budget friendly tip:
Garnish with imitation bacon bits
or serve with syrup.
